When to forward face?

Question

I know that it’s best to leave them rear facing until they hit their car seats weight limit, but I’m just curious when everyone turned their little ones around. Thanks!

My daughter is 2 and a half, and I don’t have any plans to turn her to front facing any time soon.

My son is 20 months and we just turned him around this month. He's so long (3t clothes) it was damn near impossible to get him in the rear facing seat

I plan on keeping mine rear facing until the limit as well. Kids are bendy and she can scrunch up her legs. It is so much safer rear facing and if that’s the only way she knows, she will be fine!

My son is about to turn 2 in a month and he still is under the weight and height limit so I don't plan on turning him till he hits one of those. Broken legs are better than a broken neck or spine

Mine was about 3. She was 35” and 32#. I thought for sure she’d shoot up in height, but she hasn’t. Part of me feels guilty that she’s not still rear-facing.

By daughter is only 10 months, but I don’t plan on turning her around until she reaches the height limit for rear facing, which will probably be around 2 years old. 
My SIL turned her son around at 2 years old as he reached the height limit.

We turned my oldest at 2 (in January) but now she wants to rearface again since her siblings are. So, we’re back rear facing soon to be 3 kiddos!
