Night feedings
I took my daughter to her 6 month appointment yesterday and the pediatrician explained that she should be sleeping through the night at this point. I told her that she moans very loudly every few hours and I go and nurse her. Pediatrician said she should not being feeding at night. I was shocked! She has been breastfed since day one and now gets some baby food from the jars. Pediatrician says babies have to learn to put themselves to sleep when the wake in the middle of the night. While shes moaning her eyes are still closed and I assume sleeping. I thought maybe it was pain from teething and gave her tylenol before bed. The tylenol didn't hep things much. So should I be ignoring my baby's moans at night ? I know formula fed babies sleep longer and I dont want to introduce formula. Any advice from other mamas would be helpful!
