Mae or May?

How would you spell it? Where I’m from ‘mae’ is a chavvy name, and popular in the traveller community (shouldn’t really say Gypsy). But it seems to be really popular at the moment 😬

Mae is also an original way to spell the name. I personally think it’s prettier than May, so it definitely depends on the person.   For me, Mae is a name, and May is the month.

My daughter middle name is May, thats only because i didnt know the name Mae was spelled differently.

My nieces name is Charleigh Mae, I think the spelling is pretty cute but I also think it doesnt really matter 🙂
