I got a breast reduction a year ago and it was the BEST DECISION and investment I have ever made in my life. I was 27 at the time, 5’0”, and a DDD. My back hurt, shoulders were always in pain and had dents in them from my bra strap and the sagged (but they had always done that because they grew so fast) I had one child, and my breast didn’t even grow when I had him. It hurt to run at the gym, I would always have men stare at my breast, people in general never looked me in the eye, and I always thought I looked so fat, and I was so self conscious. I saw my chiropractor once a week and she told me she would write me a letter of recommendation to my insurance to get the surgery approved. I went to Dr Liland in Dallas and y’all, I could not be happier. I feel NORMAL! I feel beautiful! I don’t have to wear a bra! My nipples sit where they are supposed to! The picture is me 8 months difference, same dress, 30 pounds lighter, and down from a DDD to a beautiful perfect C. If anyone is on the fence I recommend 100% !! I also had to post a picture of me in my wedding dress because before his surgery I NEVER would have been able to pull off this dress without spilling everywhere! I’m also expecting my second baby in October, and hoping and praying I can breastfeed! Last time around, breastfeeding was not a pleasant experience with the weight.
