First progesterone injection in butt and It bled, is that okay?

We had egg retrieval today and started progesterone tonight. My husband did It and It bled a little bit after he took the needle out. I’m so nervous now that he hit something 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes, totally normal. I had to get progesterone shots from 14 weeks until 38 weeks when I was pregnant and the first few times I had injections it bled. Just make sure to massage the area afterwards and switch sides every time you do an injection.
