Moving States
So my boyfriend and I are considering moving down to Texas. There are many reasons. We want a fresh start, there are better job opportunities down there for us both, he has family down there and honestly I’ve always wanted to move somewhere warmer. 😂
But here’s my problem: my daughter has never been away from her grandparents. They’ve helped raise her since she was born. She’s two years old.
I’m worried about how this will effect all of them. I can’t help but feel selfish for wanting to move. My mom isn’t in the greatest of health all the time. I’m worried that this will stress her to the point she gets worse and I don’t want to see that happen to her, no matter what issues we might have personally.
How should I go about this? Yes, I’ve mentioned moving down there but I’m not sure she even took me seriously.
How do I help my daughter with the transition? It’s not like I can really ease her into this. I can’t afford to move them down there with me at this point. Any advice, even on things I haven’t thought of yet, would be greatly appreciated because I’m so nervous about this. 😵
