Newbie - unmonitored IUI
I'm trying unmonitored IUI because my insurance doesn't cover anything in terms of fertility treatment, including the ultrasounds after I start medication,
because I work for a catholic health system. So, I took clomid from CD 4-8 and now I use an OPK until I reach peak, then they'll schedule IUI for the following day. This is our first go around. I don't really know what to expect. I've had 4 days of high results on the digital OPK that I've been using. I really hope I hit peak tomorrow, because they'll get me in Saturday, but if I hit peak Saturday, I don't really know what will happen because they don't do procedures on Sundays. I am guessing it would mean I have to wait and try again next cycle. Anyone else have experience with unmonitored IUI? Perhaps some. Words of wisdom?
