Has anyone ever had bright red spotting/pain with urination after an exam? I’m 25 weeks along and went to the hospital today for a fall. The midwife did a vaginal exam with a swab that was extremely painful which was weird to me because I’ve had them before with no pain.

I’m home now but as soon as I start to pee I jump a little and stop because it hurts so bad and there’s bright red spotting. If it doesn’t stop I’m calling them, I’m just wondering if this is normal?
