Bad breath

So one of my close friends has rlly bad breath. Idk if she brushes her teeth but it smells disgusting. We would have a conversation and I can’t even look at her bc I have to face away and breathe in fresh air. She doesn’t have manners so she disgustingly burped in my face and I gagged. I tried hinting stuff to her without hurting her feelings but it didn’t work. I would never intentionally hurt her bc I care abt her. But her breath is awful. Idk how to fix this but I just need some advice/ideas
