After a tough decision, my boyfriend and I decided to have a medical abortion. I had two shots of mifepristone. I tried the misoprostol twice, however they were forced out barley dissolved (3/8 dissolved).

I went for the check up a week later and I was told that the heart is still beating. I was really torn up over the whole decision. The doctor said that I should terminate the pregnancy due to the higher risk of birth defects. I wasn’t ready for a kid initially, I definitely am not ready for a kid who is not “healthy”. It’s been a pretty terrible three weeks honestly. I am going to talk to another doctor who is really trusted around town to see what he says. I’m stuck between my initial decision and the fact that God decided to give me and this child another chance.

Basically, I am just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar situation. Any advice? I can’t find anything

online.
