I’m curious about a couple things for a welcome baby shower.. my DS will be almost 8 when the new little one arrives ( struggled with infertility) and I decided I didn’t want a traditional shower since this is our 2nd.. now the thing is we did keep some of the big tickets (crib, swing, playpen) in hopes of another baby and have been given a few hand me downs since announcing our pregnancy but over the years have gotten rid of most of the small stuff and essentials... I’m know I’m having 1 small baby shower ( being hosted by my friends at work despite my objections which is very sweet) my large family also wants to celebrate so we thought of a welcome baby party instead so everyone can meet and greet the new little one as well... is it wrong to include the registry info? I know traditionally people don’t wants gifts for the welcome party and it doesn’t truly matter to me but I tried keeping the registry items to essentials and smaller stuff (bedding, few toys, feeding supplies, high chair, teething stuff, ) we would need as we are starting over ...
