HCG LEVELS ARE HIGH yet no fetus detected.. normal or no?

Question

Update on my last post being concerned w/ brown blood .
I’ve been spotting brown blood for about 10 days now. Today it barely stopped.. 
went to ER bc i was concerned about the bleeding and cramping but doctor says I’m definitely pregnant and I need to take another blood test in 2 days. But isn’t this # high..
4 months pp and this is happening so I’m very anxious to know what is going down there:/

Brown spotting was the only indication I had that anything was wrong when I had a blighted ovum. Only a series of ultrasounds will really give you an idea of what's going on. Bloods only give part of the picture.

Yes it very high. It may just be where you baby is implanted the reason they haven't detected it yet. I'm sure all is well.
