Worried about weight loss
I'm on week three of having found out that I have gestational diabetes . I've been lucky to not need any medication and insulin, I hope it stays that way.
I'm feeling a little concerned tho because at my appointment this week with the dietician they told me that I had lost 2 pounds. I know that doesn't sound like much but I feel like that's not good in pregnancy especially at 27 weeks.
I don't need to go back to the dietician until 36 weeks- unless my numbers out off, OR my weigh goes down more. Has this been happening to anyone else? It was a bit frustrating when I told my husband his response was, "you gotta make sure you eat!" Of course I eat, but it's also been hard figuring out what the right meals are and fulfilling everything . Anyone have any tips on snacks that are working for them with the diet? I've been doing Luna bars, trail mix, or cheese an crackers usually. Maybe I need more protein?
