DNC question?

Okay lady so I'm not sure if I'm in the right group or not but I had a D&C done yesterday and doctors told me to expect bleeding and so far I have no bleeding just cramping. I was 13 weeks and 1 day pregnant when we found out in the fetus had no heart beat and stopped growing at about 9 weeks. Just looking to see if any of you other moms had to go through this and how was it after? This is my second pregnancy first loss.

You might just start spotting. The D&C cleans your uterus out so maybe they for most of it out. I have had 3 myself. They have all been different but for the most part I spotted for a week and half or so. The first one I did bleed more though and the cramping got bad 2 days later. I called and they said just to take an extra tylenol pill to calm the pain.

I had one on Wednesday. I have had minimal bleeding ... spotting really and that is all. I do have intermittent cramping and these jabs to my cervix (which I had after both of my boys were born).  Everyone is different. I would follow the direction of your OB for after care and schedule your post op appointment.
