Asking those who have delivered already and are in the US. Did you meet your out of pocket? And baby's? What was the total? We know we will hit the $250 deductible no problem. Currently our out of pocket max is 1500 per person. Which means MAX we would pay 3000 (mine and babes combined) for delivery and hospital stay. We have this set aside.

I am asking because our new insurance plan starts on April 1st.... 3 days after my due date (and this is my 1st so he may be late). The new plan has a slightly higher deductible which is no biggie. But the out of pocket is $3500 per person. Which would be a max of 7000. Big difference! I am trying to decide if I should opt to induce beforehand or let it go natural. If it is likely I'll hit that max I want to induce. That far along it wouldn't be bad for baby and could save us $4000. I hate this so much. I wanted to go naturally but that is too much money to ignore over what may end up only being a day or 2 different.
