Cold or the flu?
My baby is 1 year & 4 months. She has had 2 flu shots. Her last one was about a week ago. Me & my SO is staying at my dads while he draws his unemployment until the end of March. There is 2 people in this house right now with the flu, possibly 3 b/c my dad is sick, but he doesn’t think it’s the flu. My daughter had a small fever last night along with a cough and runny nose. I know the flu hits a baby way worse in the beginning like being fussy, headache, high fever. But my baby has none of those, her fever has went down b/c of the medicine im giving her and she woke up playing this morning and laughing. She also slept through the whole night. She isn’t being fussy, but she still has a cough, runny nose and a little warm. She has had a cold before and it’s the same symptoms. I can’t take her to the dr until Monday. I’m just confused on if it’s the cold or flu because of 2 people having it in the same house we are in & having her flu shot (which I know doesn’t always work), or if it’s just a small cold like she has had before. My sister is gone for the weekend so I’m going to her house to stay until Monday to get my daughter & myself away from all this sickness in one house, because I’m also 20 weeks pregnant. Please let me know what you think it is.
