Raspberry leaf?

Question

Anybody ever drink raspberry leaf during pregnancy? What was your experience? 
I just started drinking it to help induce labor lol hoping I’ll pop soon!!

I dont think it induces labor, I think it just gets your body ready for when it does happen. I drank it with my 1st and it didn’t induce anything. I didn’t tear or anything during delivery (I had an 8 pound baby) so I think that helped with that!!

I’ve been trying to drink it...i can’t drink it anymore because I’ve noticed that for me it makes me get a headache and super nauseous. At first I thought it was labor signs 😂 (b/c every little thing at this point might be labor signs), but then I realized that I would only get like that shortly after drinking the tea. I am kind of upset that I can’t drink it but I’ve heard good things about it and my OB said it was perfectly safe to drink!

I'm drinking it but as someone else said it doesn't induce labor it just helps tone your uterine muscles so when labor does start it is more productive. I know people who drink it starting at the second trimester by advice from their midwife, and I can't imagine any midwife would advice doing something that induces you that early.

I drank it for weeks during my first pregnancy, I was 8 days late had a very painful labour and a lot of painful tears. I won’t be bothering with it this time but I have friends who feel it really helped. Everyone is different I suppose

It won’t induce labor (there aren’t any studies supporting it, anyway) but it won’t do any harm, so I’m drinking it just to feel proactive. I drank tons during my first pregnancy and gave birth the day after my due date. Who knows if it did anything. Also, I drink it iced, and I find I can drink a lot more of it that way.

It helps prepare your body for labor. My sis did use it and after 3 days her water broke so I think each person differs and it depends on the amount you drink and how often.

I just started drinking it last week in hopes of speeding this up too 😂 I know baby will come when he’s ready, but momma is ready now! Lol
