Happily Freaking Out😊

Kat

Anyone ever just meet someone and it's like, "Holy shit, this is effortless."?

Yeah. well. I met someone a couple years ago when I was with my ex and we were working together. We were always friendly and he was kinda my buddy. Hed leave little notes and stuff on my desk, innocent ones with goofily drawn faces and what not. Wed have small talk every now and then. We got along. I had a small work crush but I had my relationship I was attempting to work through and didnt want to be involved with a coworker.

Well he left the company not long after and we never spoke after that. Hed even visit work at times to do some stuff and wed barely talk.

Well. I eventually left and moved down south for a few months and he actually ended up coming to where I had worked. The move did not work out for me and I ended up coming back and we were both working at the same place again.

However, I was stupidly involved with a coworker who is 15 years older than me. I didnt actually want to be with him after I came back but we had some history and I was like ok whatever. And now he and I are no longer together and I essentially feel nothing about it. I feel bad that I do not feel bad.

Well I ended up hanging out with this other guy I first mentioned, just as friends cause i didnt want to go to a music thing by myself and we are friendly and i figured why not.

Well, hanging out was completely and totally effortless. It was easy and it was fun and we never ran out of conversation and it was just a really great time.

He paid for my food and my coffee and I told him he didn't have to and I didnt expect that. He payed attention to what I was talking about. It was light and he made no inappropriate moves.

It was near perfect.

Since then weve hung out with friends and it was really great. And now were supposed to go see a movie on Sunday.

We had a conversation the other night and turns out like he's pretty into me and kinda always has been and yeah.

We are both looking forward to being friends and getting to know each other and seeing how it progresses.

This is my first time dating before possibly entering a relationship and I'm really excited about it and I'm nervous.

Also note: I plan on leaving my job in a few months to pursue a career in real estate.

Any thoughts or advice?
