To wait or not to wait?

I have my first appointment scheduled for a little over 8 weeks, but I've heard lots of people go very soon after they find out they're pregnant to get their hcg levels checked and make sure they're doubling.... Is it worth it or should I just wait? This is my first so I have no idea what I'm doing yet 😂

You need to do what you feel comfortable with. I had a miscarriage back in October i found out i was pregnant beginning of feb I’ve been 3 times my doctor has been checking everything and i feel so much better. Today i heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks. This is your pregnancy and you need to be happy. Good luck 💗💙

If you go early there is a chance it could cause unnecessary stress if they can’t get a heartbeat or don’t see a each or something. I would just wait it out. I did and I’m glad I waited until 8 weeks to go!

I had my HCG levels checked because I had an IUI after a year an a half of trying on our own. The fertility clinic monitors me until they can see a heartbeat, then I "graduate" to an OB around 8 weeks.
So, I don't start "standard" prenatal care until the same time frame as you, either.

I’d suggest just wait til ur appt.
Majority of us get our hcg checked early cuz of prior mcs...
