Ectopic pregnancy?

Anyone ever experience and ectopic pregnancy, what were your symptoms? I tested positive two days ago and I’m waiting to retest until the day of my period supposed to arrive (Tuesday) and I’ve been experiencing bad cramps, like a sharp pain on my left pelvic area. It was so bad it woke me up out of my sleep. Only lasted a minute or so but it was so bad!!

Cramps are perfectly normal in early pregnancy, sharp pains as well. It's the embryo cuddling down in your endometrium and your uterus stretching. 
With my exu I didn't have positive test before after my missed period.

Tell your doctor! We have instincts for a reason! Just to make sure you’re all good! I had sharp pain too last week at 5w they did a transvag u/s and it was fine no ectopic but my doctor did it to rule ectopic out because I said sharp pain on the left.. I’m sure you’re gonna have the same story lol but we need peace of mind!

I had a Cesarean Scar Etopic a few years ago with multiples. Never had any symptoms until I was experiencing pain & severe bleeding w/clots so I thought it was just miscarring. My doctor told me to come in the following Monday to have an ultrasound and I really didn't even want to go as I thought I had already lost the baby because of all the blood & clots. So when I had my ultrasound they could see one in my uterus with no heartbeat & one embedded in my Cesarean Scar that still had a heartbeat. I had to have a laparotomy to remove the baby (so heart breaking) I ended up pregnant 1 year later with my now 3year old. I hope you are not having an Etopic as they can be very dangerous & life threatening. I wish you the Best of luck.
