Is there a certain amount of time that you have to be trying to conceive before going to a fertility doctor?

If the woman is under 35 it’s 1 year and over 35 is 6 months before seeking fertility help.

Documented a year. Go to your fam dr now and initiate the conversation and tests they can do.  We tried over a year and then went to our dr and he “couldn’t” refer us until they ran a bunch of tests and had documented it for a year.

Typically a year. Make sure you voice to your doctor that you’re actively trying. Note any abnormal clotting, or anything abnormal that has been happening that didn’t happen before TTC.
