Potty training help?!

Why is my 3 yr old scared of the potty?!  Everytime we try and put her on it. She cries and screams til we take her off. How did you potty train your girls who are difficult?! We have training panties. She loves to wear them. We tried candy. We tried toys. She just wont go potty on the toilet PLEASE HELP

She may just not be ready yet. My thing was I didn’t force it, when she was ready I knew! every child potty trains at a different age.

Potty training past 2.5 years old can be really challenging because they're very set in their ways at that point. This is something that should have been started quite some time ago. We potty trained our daughter a couple of weeks ago at 20 months. Took 3 days using a 3-day potty training boot camp method. We don't do candy. Our daughter gets a sticker and a fruit snack when she goes on her potty. I also never just put her on the potty to "try". That alone can make the process scary and stressful. I only bring her in when she has to go. You really just need a better, more consistent method. And at 3 years old, she should be more than able to tell you why she's scared. So I'd start with communicating with her. And toss all "training panties". She needs actual underwear. Diapers and pull-ups are a crutch and teach her nothing.

I saw in a comment that you said she’s putting a pull up on to go pee right? I would take them away and put them out of her reach that way she only has the choice to go on the potty

Try one of the children’s potties. It might be the size and height that is scaring her? My sister would give my nephew a sucker or a small treat for going. Maybe a couple skittles to avoid sugar overload. Have you tried asking why it’s scary? I’m sure you have, but sometimes you have to be super persistent to get an answer out of them

My best friend is trying with her almost 3 year old.....the only thing they have found that works is to let her go on the proper toilet with one of those small seats to insert in the middle. She too point blank refuses to go on a potty!
