Stiff neck at 8 weeks?

Hi all,
I'm almost 8 weeks. I have a really sore stiff neck for the last 2 days. It has subsided a lot after placing ice in it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this,

After a day of icing, you’ll want to start rotating between ice and heat. This will help with repairing the strained muscle. Too much ice will lock up the muscle and prevent blood flow which helps with healing. Heat/ice helps force the blood flow to the area. When you can try to stretch it out but do not push it. If it hurts then stop there. Only stretch up/down and side/side. I’ve suffered with neck problems for years and this has helped me tremendously especially when you can’t take any anti-inflammatories.

I did had a stiff neck around 7 weeks. It was so painful. I went to the primary doctor. She told me to apply ice. It took more than a week for me to get my normal neck back. I hate it! After that I did not have a neck pain anymore.
