Beached whale
Took this pic at 34 weeks. i feel like a disgusting beached whale. I was told I have had type 2 diabetes for past 16months! I’ve not been treated for it once prior or since being told about being diabetic. I have major mobility issues due to a bus accident 21yrs ago. I’ve had blood pressure issues for a number of years with high risk of premature labour as my last baby (who is autistic) delivered at 34 +6 (I buried my father just 5days prior) almost 4years ago. In meantime I have midwives, doctor, my mother & my youngest sons health visitor telling me I should be trying to actively lose weight when I can barely move due to pain as I can’t take pain killers I was on due to pregnancy. I hit 37weeks on tues 5th March & can’t wait for hitting that mark as midwife is refusing my homebirth request until I hit 37weeks. The sooner “lumpy” arrives the sooner a lot of these negative c###s can butt out of our lives. Sorry for venting like this, but being basically single (father of baby only around a couple of days a wk, when not with anyone else), 8months pregnant, disabled with a 3yr old autistic son is enough to deal with without being constantly told/reminded that your a fatty is enough to make you wish you no longer exist!
