Has anyone had a sonohysterograph?

Question

When saline is injected into the uterus to study the lining. I have one March 12, what should I expect?

I just had one last week, they did the transvaginal ultrasound first and took pics. And then the dr came in and inserted the catheter into my cervix with the saline. To me personally it hurt, I was cramping so bad and in pain while the tube was in and the ultrasound wand. But it only lasted less than 5 minutes. It is worth it though to see everything. Just take some tylenol before.

I’ve had 3. My first two were uncomfortable bc it’s like period cramps out of no where but this last one I barely felt a thing and it was easy breezy. Take some Advil before you go and it’s honestly not that bad

I had one in October , it didn’t hurt for me even with one tube blocked /or spasmed , they don’t know which. It was actually really quick . Just breathe because if you tense up it will be more uncomfortable.

Is this like the same test about a dye? Im having a test done too but my Doctor just told me they put like a "dye" to check for fertility.
