Not how I planned...

Sam

So I had wanted to stay working until the end of April. Due date is may 7 (my wedding anniversary) and looks like I'll be on leave in the next couple weeks.

I've been getting very lightheaded the past few weeks and it's becoming more frequent. Theres no rhyme or reason either. I can be sitting/standing/laying down and it hits me. Based on the fact that I have to drive 40 mins to work, my doctor is worried that itll get worse and I may blackout while driving.

My BP has been anywhere from 130/60 to 140/93 in the span of a day. I've had fairly steady headaches and the soonest I can get in is March 11 unless i take a day off work and sit at the clinic until the doctor had 5 mins I can borrow.

I'm so lucky though because my works short term disability is 1 week paid sick leave, paid by work, followed by 6 weeks full pay from our work benefits. I also have 2 weeks vacation I can take. So I guess I'll only be there a small while longer... probably for the best but still makes me feel like a complainer....

UPDATE!!!!! I'm officially on leave and considered to have gestational hypertension. He said if I work any longer, I'm increasing my risk of going into preterm labor. He already thinks I'll be early, if they don't have to induce me as soon as I'm 37 weeks.
