Why do so many test before AF is due?

So I’m curious why so many women test before AF is due. I have been told so many times to test after your period has been missed by several days. I see a lot of ladies testing days before though. I’m just being curious.

We have a POAS !!! Addiction 😂 and FYI that stands for peeing on a stick ! We all know what the rules are,but when some of us have been hoping for a baby for so long you tend to get anxious plus most of us are smart enough to use  bulk cheapie test so it’s really no harm

Because tests say you can test 6 days before. Why wait if you can get a positive when you’re ttc? I always test early.

Impatient, anxious, feeling symptoms.. lots of reasons. Also some of them probably see some women get a BFP at 8-9 dpo and think they can get one too. I’m an early tester and just like to watch the line darken. I wanna know the earliest possible day lol.

When you're trying you like to test before then because it's very possible to catch it before a missed period. And some people have to catch new pregnancies asap because they need prenatal care asap for various reasons. I've never waited until I completely missed af. I don't see a reason to.

I tested 3 days before AF. Many people get impatient. I am one of them. 
Sometimes you get a bfp before your missed period.

Personally I won’t because I have had one chemical so in my opinion I think it’s best to test the day of AF or the day after AF is due

I got both positives 3 days before my period was due because I had mid-cycle cramping at 9dpo, which is HIGHLY unusual for me. 
I’m very in tune with my body, so when I tested the next morning I had faint positive pregnancy tests 🤷🏻‍♀️
I had a little girl from my first pregnancy, she’s 10 months now, and I’m 15 weeks 2 days pregnant with our second child 😊

I need to be put on supplements the second I get a positive. So for me, the sooner the better.
