I need help how to drop domestic violence charges

Me and my boyfriend got in a fight it escalated then later on that night I go to the hospital because I felt very sick & im pregnant my head aches really bad too . My friend took me & she like made me say his name when I didn’t even want to give the cop his name. I told the cop I don’t want to press charges but she was like we still have to blah blah .. so now I’m hurting I wanna figure out how it can be dropped I don’t want him & jail he’s gonna turn his self in tomorrow then maybe bond out the next day. I really need him tho I’m 30 weeks pregnant I’m having our son May 8th I don’t want him to be in jail when I have him. So if I don’t show up to court ( I never pressed charges the cop did so I guess the state did idk I’m confused I don’t know how this shit works) will it just drop if I don’t show up ? That’s what I’m hoping will happen or if they call me I can say I love him & I want the charges drop because it was both our faults
