Started talking to a guy around the end of January. Went on a few dates and now we’re in that awkward stage where we’re exclusive but not dating. Anyway, the first time he spent the night (around the 4th time we hung out) we ended up having sex. I’ve been with 3 guys before him (two being long term boyfriends and one being a summer fling) and I’d never enjoyed sex before now. It had always been something I was guilted into by my boyfriends at the time but with him it just happened so naturally. Of course it was awkward at some times but I felt good about it before, during, and now after. At this point we’ve hooked up twice and I can easily say he’s the best I’ve ever had. It’s the first time I’ve felt hot or sexy during sex, it’s the first time I’ve been with someone who continuously praises me during. The second time we slept together around the time I orgasmed I got so emotional, I almost cried. It’s all very overwhelming for me (because I have been through sexual abuse and CSA) but I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my sexuality and in the relationship that’s forming. Sex is so different when it’s something being shared between two people rather than something being held over one’s head.
