looking for any insight
not sure if its just skin irritation or bv but we had sex last night. i wore a pad at work and this afternoon when i went pee i noticed my outer labia felt irritated and burning and looked red and slightly swollen. everything else seems normal but ive never had this or ever had bv. im worried because its now the weekend and i work all day monday i dont know if i should call and page the dr on a saturday for this???

thanks everyone i kinda panicked but this morning its practically gone. i think it was irritation from my pad. ill look into non fragranced more senaitive kind and also change it more often!

If you had BV you would smell like a straight fish market. It's a very unpleasant smell, when I had BV I didn't have any irritation I just smelled like fish. Tmi but true.

Doesnt  sound like bv hun. When that happened to me i take a shower, wear cotton underwear and then an ice pack down there to bring down the swelling and irritation. Once you're not so uncomfortable id let everything air out. Hope maybe that helps 🤷‍♀️

Your symptoms don't sound like BV, did you wear a pad because of the irritation? I'd see if I could get a doctor's appointment for Tuesday.
