Um I have had my period non stop for nine months and it’s horrible, I took the Depo shot and then stopped it cuz I wouldn’t stop bleeding and now I know they want to give me an IUD but I don’t think I am ready for that yet, I miss not having it

I was wearing tampons and it kinda looked like a part was missing when I pulled it out so I checked and the lining inside of my vagina is covered in cotton from it, is that normal? Will it just come out eventually on its own?
