So I woke up to go potty

Daniele

And I wiped and had this but when I wiped a second time nothing. I’ve also had the poops for the last 24 hrs so I’m thinking it’s prob nothing. I’ve been to the bathroom two more times and nothing. I can feel him moving around fine. I think I’m just paranoid now because I had my 20 week scan yesterday and the doc said I had a low lying placenta. Should I be worried?

If your poop has been hard or caused you to wipe a lot it’s probably from that. Just keep an eye on it. Maybe get a mirror out to see if you can see a tear or cut. If more blood call your doctor or go in to the emergency room ASAP.

For a low lying placenta I would call. I have placenta previa and my dr said to call for spotting and to go to ER for bleeding. She said it’s common with this issue.

I haven’t had any other signs of anything. The baby is moving fine and heartbeat is good. If I start cramping or have any more blood I will go to the hospital.

I have heard of people with low lying placentas having full blown bleeding with clots so it could possibly be due to that. But i agree with everyone else that you should deffo get checked out as im not a health care professional. X

Any bleeding at this point is not normal so please call you doctor. I hope it is nothing but it's better to be safe.

Please call your doctor or go to the hospital just to be safe. With your low lying placenta the bleeding could be from that. I would get checked out!

I would call your doctor just to be safe. I had bleeding which is how I found out I had a low lying placenta. With that it's more common to get a small tear that could result in modified bed rest for you until it heals. It could just be nothing because of what you said but my doctor said to call anytime theres blood with it.
