Baby Appreciation Post!!!!! (Long & Too many pictures)

How in the actual world did I get so lucky??? He gave me the perfect pregnancy, perfect birth, perfect breastfeeding experience and he has taught me so much patience & given me more love than I could have ever imagined. He taught me that when the timing is right, things will work out. When I took the paci away he didn’t even miss it. When I tried to stop breastfeeding for my own benefit he wasn’t having it, but when I found out I was pregnant again and wanted to to stop for the sake of the new baby he put up no fight. When I lost the baby he provided me with endless snuggles, smiles and affection. When we decided to officially crib train him almost three weeks ago he made it such an easy transition and got the hang of it so quickly. He’s getting so much more independent and for the most part is such a good listener and very obedient (unless he needs a nap! Then he thinks being told no is a hilarious joke lol) He’s always trying to help with laundry, sweeping and tidying up ( I find EVERYTHING in the trash can!) He loves the beach just like mommy and just loves being outside in general. He’s making so many friends and loves other kids so much! He definitely has a dangerous combination of mommy & daddy’s sense of humors and I’m so excited and terrified to see how that plays out as he gets older. His laugh is infectious and even when you know he’s giving you a fake laugh it still makes you feel good because it’s so stinking cute!! I know I’m his mom and I’m biased but I see nothing wrong with shouting your love for your kids from the rooftops every once in a while! He is the sweetest, silliest little boy and his smile lights up my whole world. He’s 20 months tomorrow and has definitely been creeping into terrible twos territory for the past several months with the temper tantrums and baby busybodiedness lol but for the most part he’s just exploring and learning about the world around him and it is so fascinating to watch. He has brought my husband and I even closer together in so many ways, and made us learn so much about ourselves and each other. The past 4 months have been very difficult but he has been the ray of sunshine we needed throughout all of it. It’s so hard to worry about the things you don’t have when you already have something so special. He is my heart, my pride and joy, my saving grace. I love you my sweet Ezra Joel!!!!!!!
