So I’m really confused here.

I am 4 DPO cycle, and officially 1 week since we had sex (it wasn’t on the day for best chance of pregnancy, but it was in the window for it).

I’ve taken a few strip tests, all negative. Yesterday I had spotting. It was a darker red/brown in color, and was like a light period. Also had some cramping. Today - none.

I’ve NEVER spotted before, before getting my period. I’m not due to start for about a week.

Is this normal? Anyone a normal spotter?
