Did anyone else’s neck turn dark??

I swear it looks like I don’t shower. No matter what I do, my skin on my neck, on the side of my neck has been turning brown. If so, DOES IT GO BACK TO NORMAL AFTER BABY? I am associating this to pregnancy cause this was not an issue before. Oh, also armpits. They gotten darker as well. Like what is this?

Yes my neck and armpit has gotten super dark and a over growth of skin tags....I’m hoping it goes back to normal after birth if not I’ll be using some sorts of skin toning gel/lotion because it’s very obvious.

Yes and mine never turned back to my skin color 😫 i got it with my 1st who is now 8 yrs old and ever since I have the damn dark neck tried alot of things to get rid of it, but nothing worked 😞

Yesss me omgosh ugh!! i just add foundation there after my face, so it all can match 😑

Is it on the left side of your neck? I ask because If you drive a good amount, it could be melasma triggered by the by sunlight hitting that side while driving. I’m an Esthetician and I’ve had so many pregnant clients with this issue. As a preventative measure, it’s always good to wear a moisturizer with a minimum spf of 25. There’s not too much you can do when it’s already happened but it should gradually fade away after pregnancy 😊.

Could you maybe use like a gradual tan body lotion? Just to even it out till after pregnancy. I would try that :) it’s just hormones I reckon!

Yes mines too but its due to the extra insulin being produced. And for me its also my weight.

yes!!! ):  it slowly got dark and I’m so embarrassed by it. I use toner on my neck now and make sure to moisturize my neck a lot better. I haven’t seen it darken any further but it still hasn’t lightened 😪🙄

I’ve heard sometimes it goes back to normal but sometimes it doesn’t 🤞🏼
