Hi everyone!

We have been trying to introduce a bottle since 6 weeks old (8 weeks now) but have been unsuccessful. My baby plays with it with his tongue but has no idea what to do with the plastic nipple. We have tried evenflo, Tommy Tippee, ComoTomo, Avent and none have gotten him to latch on. He sometimes gags with them as if they go into his throat too far. Does anyone have experience with a bottle that has a “shorter” nipple? He also does not take a pacifier (which I am okay with). He takes the boob like a champ and I’m glad he loves breastfeeding so much but I can’t be away from him for more than 2 hours. I am home on mat leave for a year but it would be nice to be able to have a date night or even a morning to sleep in. Thanks in advance!
