So my boyfriend is the 4th one in his linage to have the first name Arthur. He says often that if we have a son we’re going to name him Arthur too. I understand it’s important to him, and if we ever have a son together I’d do it no question. However I think it’s an awful name. I’m not looking for any advice or anything because there’s nothing I can really do about it other than refuse and cause problems in our relationship. I’m just frustrated and I wish I could convince him otherwise. I think about when he gets to school age he’ll have to correct every teacher and say he goes by his middle name like my boyfriend did. My family is dominated by girls, I’m the 3rd generation of all girls. Hopefully it continues.
