My hubby is my lover and BFF and everything all in one. We joke around and know how to push each other’s buttons but also have the strong romantic love towards each other. The best of both worlds. I don’t really have a woman bff just bc when you get married and have kids well.. as the saying goes “you don’t find out who your true friends are, you just realize you never had any” lol 😂

Not exactly. A best friend is someone I consider to be a platonic term. While I want my husband to be someone I can confide in without fear or worry and have fun with, like a best friend, I don’t like using that term to be applied to my partner in life and love. 
My husband is my partner, my spouse, my love. He’s someone I trust with everything, and someone I want to share my entire life and body with. 
My best friend is someone I can go to for advice, someone I love as a sister (as my best friend is a woman I’ve known since we were in 4th grade). She’s the person I may confide in when I’m unsure of how to approach my husband about something, the person I trust to tell me if I look fat in my jeans, she’s my person.
My husband isn’t my best friend, and my best friend isn’t my life partner. While some of their “duties” overlap, it’s not the same thing to me.
