Hey everyone. Just wondering if this is normal. I first got the nexplanon inserted in 2015. It was due to come out in December 2018 but, due to me being me I didn’t have it removed until January 2019 . Anyways I really didn’t have any complaints about the birth control. The removal was a pain in the ass but my concern is now it’s March and I still have pain at the insertion sight. It’s like soooo tender when I brush across stuff with my arm and it just aches. I know you guys aren’t doctors. I may call my doctor but I just was wondering if this was common. Has anyone experience pain months after reinsertion ? Back in 2015 when I first got it I didn’t experience this.
