So my girlfriend and I have been together for 5 months

And I am not from America, I was born in Spain and therefore Spanish is my first language and when I get really tired it’s hard to translate everything I say into English before it comes out of my mouth, so sometimes I will just give up and start speaking Spanish

My girlfriend dosnt speak any Spanish and I don’t expect her to ever learn and I am totally ok with that

So yesterday she said what I have decided is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me in a long time

“It dosnt matter if I can’t understand you, I will always put down whatever I am doing and listen to you, I may not be able to answer back or even know what I am listening to in the first place but I will always listen to you, because everything you want to tell me is important and worth listening to”

I just thought I would share that because it is the sweetest and wisest thing I have ever heard

We all just want someone to listen ❤️
