Tips for getting baby to drink water?

My daughter hates water. I even try adding a little juice to it and she still won’t drink it. Does anyone have tips for getting baby to drink water? Thanks in advance!

Adding the juice is the problem....juice is full of sugar and not much else. I’d ditch the juice and continue offering just water. Mine drinks right out of a cup (with my help) and loves it. It took a bit of convincing at first but I offered it everyday and now he just loves it!

They will always choose juice over water. Only offer water and milk/formula.

My son only really drinks it out of an open top cup, I have to tip it for him and it takes ages to actually get him to drink it all. Only way he'll have water though.

So we switched to a straw sippy cup and now she's drinking!! I think the soft spouts were more like toys for her and the hard spout may have been a bit more awkward so she'd dribble a lot out. Now she's drinking about 3 ounces a day with the straw cup! Hope this helps.

With my first we just left sippy cups of water laying around everywhere, especially in her play areas with her toys, and always offered one with a meal. She would play with them and eventually caught on. There are still sippy cups everywhere of hers so my May baby caught on the same way, lol.

No tips, but our daughter won't drink it either. We've tried different cups and even a bottle, different temperatures, added a little juice, and she'll only take a couple sips after much fighting.
