I’m a first time mommy and I’ve been experiencing A LOT of spit up with my 2 week old, not always right after feedings, but it’s gotten to where I feel uncomfortable leaving him in the bassinet to sleep after feeding and burping because me and my SO have woken up to him choking multiple times before. Is it possible that him sleeping on my chest could result in development issues? Regarding his internals or chest. My father lives with us and he’s been saying how I shouldn’t have him on my chest so much, and I should put him down, because he’s concerned I may be stunting him.
