I just need a place to vent that isn’t my poor husband ear.

My husbands parents could not care less that they have a new granddaughter. They live in a different state and have not even attempted to make a time to see her. My husband is in the military and it’s been 2 years since they have seen him (since he went active duty). They didn’t come before he deployed to a war zone or returned 9 months later. YET they are constantly posting about their other 3 year old granddaughter and how lucky they are to be in her life and how much they love her. I’ve tried everything to get them to make an effort for my daughter and husbands sake. I know it makes him sad they don’t care (they hate he went active).

We are lucky my parents who are also out of state make so much effort to see us and were here to spend a week with us when she was born. But it just makes me mad and sad that my husbands parents show such strong favorites towards their other granddaughter and don’t even care to see their own son.

Sorry for the vent, just so frustrated and postpartum hormones don’t let me control my feelings as well LOL
