Try some hot tea with honey and run a humidifier.  You can try looking up the safe medications you can take while pregnant but I read that many of the multi symptom ones aren't good.  I just got over a bad cold and drank probably 6 cups of caffeine free hot tea in one day haha. It broke up a lot of the mucus and I got better quickly

There’s a lot that you can take for a cough over the counter.
When I had the flu I personally ran my Vick’s humidifier, put Vick’s on my chest, took showers, and drank lots of fluids.
I used lozenges that didn’t have medication in them. Personally didn’t want to risk anything with a Category C medication if I didn’t have to.
