Typically blood in vomit looks like coffee grounds. But I've thrown up fresh blood before.

The blood wouldnt be from your stomach..but it could be from your esophagus ...either way get checked. I would go to the hospital for this especially if you're pregnant.

In my first trimester, I would get really sick and throw up so much that I would throw up blood also. Mines was a little bit darker though. Anyway, it was from my throat, not my stomach. I was literally throwing up so much, my throat started to bleed. The next day I would be fine.

Blood in vomit can happen due to your stomach acid biting your esophagus as it comes up. Try and stay hydrated by sucking of ice cubes and popsicles if you can’t keep other liquids down. You can also get some electrolyte drinks and freeze them into ice cubes or popsicles, your body will need those electrolytes replenished. I hope you feel better soon.
