Hey guys , so I’ve had the coil for 3 years now , and everything was fine! Until maybe a year ago ... I’ve always had awful periods and cramps but have been on the pill from the age of 14 to try and help! I suffer with awful cramps, from ovulation through to my period! The bloating is really impacting on my life, and the pain! I also have had symptoms of fatigue and painful bowel movements, and needing to pee more frequently. But lately I’ve been spotting and having more than one period? I’ve been to the doctors and now I’ve had my bloods taken and am booked in for an abdominal ultrasound... I am just wondering if anyone has had similar problems whilst on the coil? I have not been diagnosed with Endo, for the last couple of years I had always put the pain down to IBS, however finally they’re taking me seriously. I have no idea what the issue may be however a lot of my symptoms are similar to those of you with Endo! I just want some advice really on what the next steps would be and if anyone else has had the coil and had similar issues with bleeding and multiple periods?
