Foundation moves around..‼️

Hi guys,

I have an issue with my foundation not sticking to my face when I apply it.. it tends to move around...i can never “build up my coverage” since the product rubs off my skin easily..

I have used a variety of brands of primer and foundation nothing works.. I’ve used brushes, beauty blender, even my hands..

I have a skincare routine I follow every time.. I just don’t know why this is happening.. have you guys come across this??

I have combination skin, mostly dry though

Currently using Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I’ve used setting powders to “lock” it In but it looks so patchy...

pic: Apologies for the terrible image quality but i hope it gives you somewhat of an idea of what my foundation looks like after I apply.

I feel like all the texture on my skin looks 💯x worse with makeup than without 😓

After you moisturise let it soak in for five mins then pat off the excess with something like a cloth Only use a small amount of primer as they can be greasy. Like half a peaPick a matte foundation as this one may not be working. You may have oilier skin?Don't use fingers to apply and clean your brush and sponge very regularlyFan your face for a few seconds Set with a translucent powder

👆yes I absolutely do all this.. would be crazy to think maybe I need to get a primer that’s of the same brand as the foundation..🤔 to think of it I use a lot of primer too, because I feel like it helps fill in my huge pores....🤭☹️

Agree ^ definitely let your moisturizer have time to soak in before applying your primer

Don’t forget to use a good setting spray when you’re all done to set your makeup!

Since you have dry skin you may want to pick up a hydrating setting spray instead of the matte one! I use maybelline

I love younique primer! It feels like silk going on your skin and I’ve never had issues.

Find a foundation that is semi-matte but if it’s not matte then I would use setting powder definitely to lock it in. Cause I have combination but I’m more oily and using setting spray vs setting powder makes the difference for me.
