Can i give my baby water?

Im just curious if i can start giving my baby a little bit of water maybe 1 or 2 oz a day? Has anyone else given their baby water

Pediatricians don’t usually recommend giving babies water until at least 6 months old usually when you introduce a sippy cup. Giving water to early to babies can be very dangerous.  Babies get all of their liquid nutritional requirements from either breastmilk or formula.

No! Please don’t give your baby water just yet. It is so dangerous. I know that there are those who do and their babies are just fine but it is not safe and not worth the risk. Water can flush the sodium out of their tiny bodies and cause water toxicity.
