Latching advice/tips needed!

My little girl (born on February 28) does not open her mouth wide enough for me to get as much nipple/areola into her mouth, causing her latches to be rather shallow and sometimes painful. I've watched tons of videos and had lactation experts help me while in the hospital but I'm still unable to do it.

My nipples are incredibly sore and I started getting what looks like a blister on one of them. I sit through the pain when it hurts because i want to make sure she is eating.

How do I make this a better process for us? I want to make sure she is getting all she needs but not hurting me also. That sounds incredibly selfish of me but I'm not trying to come off that way!
