Car seats?

Please no mom shaming about forward facing my son! 
We have a graco 4ever extend2fit right now that we are transferring back and forth between my car and my husbands truck we really want to get a second car seat but don’t want to spend $300 on another car seat does anyone have any suggestions for good car seat to use as essentially a spare we only take his truck once a week max

I’d check the laws of your state about forward facing. I know mine just switched to age 2 before you can legally forward face.
I’d check Walmart for a seat. I think it’s the safety first brand that makes a decent cheaper seat. Under 100 I’m pretty sure.

All seats go through the safety checks. Just find the cheapest one that is rear facing. Their bodies are too frail at that age to forward face. I’d gladly pay an extra 100$ to keep my kids safe. Just find the cheapest one.

We bought two Evenflo Sure Ride car seats from buy buy baby last year and they were $99. When our son outgrew his infant seat at 11mos we needed to buy two seats but couldn’t spend a fortune on them, so I did some research and found this one. It works well, it’s easy to install, and it’s lightweight so it’s not a total pain if you have to remove it.
